Pool Master's core operation is the service and repair of swimming pools. There is no substitute for technical excellence and fair pricing in highly competetive Phoenix area market. Our people and the pools we care for are highly visible, and that visibility can either provide opportunities, or damage our public image. Therefore, our foremost priority is to hire only the best people, and train (or re-train) them ourselves. To attract those individuals, we offer paid vacations and company paid Health Insurance through BlueCross BlueShield of Arizona.
We are one of the few pool service companies in Arizona that hires full time employes almost exclusively, and we prefer training the right individuals to hiring experienced sub contractors. Our in-house training program is top notch, and includes individual route training, general pool mechanics, company policies on thoroughness, professionalism, and reliability, as well as water chemistry training, testing, and certification. Route wages are paid by the job, and bonuses are available every 90 days for top performers. It is our hope and expectation that every PMR will earn that bonus every 90 days.
There is no room in our Service Department for an individual who is unwilling or unable to clean a swimming pool properly. For this reason, and for reasons of exposure and endurance testing, we generally hire into the entry level of Pool Maintenance Rep, and promote into Supervisory and Repair Technician positions from within.
Because we wish to attract quality people to the PMR position, which in itself had limited financial and career growth potential, we have designed a structure to support the growth and opportunity our people want and deserve.
